US Dollar Index Price Analysis: Scope for a quick move to 94.00

  • DXY records new 2021 highs just below 93.90 on Wednesday.
  • Further north comes the round level at 94.00 the figure.

DXY extends the intense rebound to the boundaries of the 94.00 mark, or new YTD highs, on Wednesday.

If the buying impulse maintains the pace, then the next target of note is seen emerging at the round level at 94.00 ahead of the November 2020 high at 94.30.

In the meantime, and looking at the broader scenario, the constructive stance on the dollar is seen unchanged while above the 200-day SMA, today at 91.53.
