UK: Annual Industrial Production up 1.8% in December

FXStreet (Barcelona) - Year-over-year UK Industrial Production grew by 1.8% in December, following a 2.1% increase in November, National Statistics informed on Friday. Analysts forecasted a 2.3% rise. On a monthly basis UK Industrial Production rose by 0.4%, after remaining flat and below expectations of +0.6%.

On an annual basis UK Manufacturing Production grew by 1.5% in December, after climbing 2.2% in November and below expectations of a 2.3% increase. Monthly Manufacturing Production rose 0.3%, following a 0.1% drop and below market consensus of 0.6% growth.
