Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Araghchi turns down hopes of Washington-Tehran peace

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Araghchi crossed wires while saying, “Iran did not agree to incorporate its missile program into the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) under Trump’s maximum pressure policy and it will not allow it under US President Biden’s negotiations policy.”

In a separate report, spread by the Iranian press, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that the news of a direct dialogue between Iran and the United States is not true.

It’s worth mentioning that CNBC rolled out the news that White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said, on Sunday, “The United States has started speaking with Iran over detained Americans.”
