USD/CAD climbs to 1-week highs
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The USD/CAD printed a fresh daily high during the American session at 1.0681, reaching the strongest level in a week and then pulled back slightly to finish the day trading around 1.0675.
It was the second gain in a row for the pair that recovered ground after bottoming last week at 1.0618, the lowest level since January.
The Canadian dollar was among the worst performers across the baord on Monday, weakened by economic data from Canada. The Loonie retreated sharply but the US dollar also fell in the market. While the AUD/USD and the NZD/USD rose on the back of a weak Greenback, the USD/CAD failed to hold near multi-month lows.
