ECB's de Cos: German court ruling won't affect ECB's future monetary policy

German constitutional court's ruling on the European Central Bank's (ECB) Public Sector Purchase Programme (PSPP) won't affect the ECB's future monetary policy, ECB Governing Council member Paolo Hernandez de Cos said on Wednesday.  

Market reaction

This comment doesn't seem to be having a significant impact on the shared currency's performance against its rivals. As of writing, the EUR/USD pair was down 0.2% on the day at 1.1210.

Meanwhile, the Euro Stoxx 50 Index was losing 0.45% on a daily basis at 3,219 points.
