US stocks recover, Europe ends with gains
FXStreet (Córdoba) - Wall Street is rising on Tuesday while European stocks managed to erased losses and finished with moderate gains.
In London the FTSE 100 finished up 0.18% while the Dax gained 0.38% and the Cac 40 0.58%. In the US the Dow Jones is rising 0.17%, the Nasdaq 0.51% and the S&P 500 0.22%.
Economic data showed that the US Consumer Price Index rose in May 0.4%, above expectations of a 0.2% increase while the core index posted the biggest gain since August 2011.
Gold is falling but trimmed losses after Wall Street opening, rising more than $10 from the lows and currently settles at $1,270. Crude oil is unchanged, trading barely below $107.
