US: CPI (May) rose 2.1% YoY

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - The Department of Labour informed that US consumer prices rose at an annual pace of 2.1% during May, surpassing estimates (2.0%). On a monthly basis, prices rose 0.4% vs. 0.2% forecasted. Core CPI, which strips food and energy costs, rose 2.0% over the last twelve months and 0.3% MoM.
