China’s State Councillor Wang urges all sides to ease Gulf region tension

Reuters reports the recent comments by the Chinese State Councillor and a senior diplomat Wang Yi, as he urges all sides (the US and Iran) to exercise restraint and ease tension in the Gulf region.

Wang noted that China hoped Iran would not “rashly” abandon the 2015 nuclear deal.
