BoE's Saunders: UK could see more rate hikes if Brexit is smooth

The BoE MPC member, Michael Saunders was out with some comments in the last hour and said that the UK could see more rate hikes if Brexit is smooth.

This comes on the back of stronger UK wage growth data and provided a goodish lift to the British Pound, assisting the GBP/USD pair to extend its intraday positive move further beyond the 1.2700 handle.
