Fed: US household debt rose at 2.3% annual rate to $15.7 trillion in first quarter

In its latest quarterly report, the Federal Reserve Bank announced that the household debt in the U.S. rose at an annual rate of 2.3% to $15.7 trillion in the first quarter of 2019 following the 2.8% growth recorded in the last quarter of 2018. Other details of the publication revealed that the household net worth increased by 4.5% to $108.6 trillion in the same period.
