UK Conservative leadership candidates with little support to be eliminated - Telegraph

The Telegraph, a British daily, reported late-Monday that a leadership contender for the UK’s Conservative Party who fails to win the support of more than 10 Members of Parliament next week could be eliminated after the first round of voting under plans to be discussed by backbenchers on Tuesday, as cited by Reuters.

For the leadership contest, four rounds of voting among Conservative MPs are planned with the final two candidates selected by June 20, the report said.
