ECB’s Villeroy: March policy settings are appropriate

ECB policymaker Francois Villeroy de Galhau was out on the wires in the last hour saying that the incoming data does not contraction forecasts made in March and we saw a significant but temporary slowdown in March.

March policy setting are appropriate as substantial geopolitical uncertainties continue to persist, Villeroy added further.
