Fed’s Bostic: We are at or very close to our inflation target

Commenting on the recent inflation data, which showed that the core Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose to 2.1% on a yearly basis in April, Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic said that they were "at or very close to" the Fed's inflation target. Bostic further added that the U.S. economy was doing "pretty well."
