UK Labour spokesman: Brexit talks remain serious and engaged

The opposition Labour party's spokesman recently crossed the wires saying that Brexit talks with the government remain "serious and engaged."

However, the spokesman also noted that they were yet to see a substantive movement that they believe is needed to reach an agreement. "Labour is looking to nail down in the next few days whether and how far the government is willing to move," the spokesman further explained and reiterated that a new customs union with the EU was a "crucial building block" for the agreement.
