NZD/USD falls to 0.8655
FXStreet (Córdoba) - After peaking yesterday at 0.8778, today the NZD/USD is reversing sharply and bottomed hours ago at 0.8655. In the last hours has remained steady hovering around 0.8670, down 0.74% for the day.
NZD/USD sharp reversal
From yesterday's high price has fallen more than a hundred pips. After giving signs of exhaustion during Tuesday’s American session, the Kiwi weakened further after employment data from New Zealand.
During the Asian session the pair bottomed at 0.8680 but then broke lower, finding support at 0.8655. The NZD/USD erased in less than 24 hours weekly gains and now is trading just 20 pips above Friday’s closing price.
