RBA's Lowe: Lower rates would lead to a lower AUD

While addressing the Q & A session, the RBA Governor Lowe resorted to even currency jawboning, by saying that lower rates would lead to a lower AUD.

He added that he is confident lower rates would stimulate the economy if needed.
