US Sec Of State Pompeo: Fundamental disagreement at meeting with senior China diplomat Wang

The US secretary of state Mike Pompeo, commenting on escalating trade tension between the world's two largest economies in Beijing, said that the US has a fundamental disagreement and great concern about China's actions. 

He further added that strategic US-China dialogue was something China chose not to undertake.

Pompeo is on an official visit to China for consultations on bilateral and international issues, including Beijing's territorial claims in the South China Sea.
