EUR futures: rebound on the cards?

According to CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets, investors trimmed their open interest positions by nearly 4.1K contracts on Monday from Friday’s final 479,552 contracts. Volume followed suit and dropped significantly by almost 82K contracts.

EUR/USD door open for a test of 1.1500

The selling pressure around EUR/USD stays unabated so far today. Monday’s downtick was accompanied by shrinking open interest and volume, which opens the door for a potential U-turn in the near term.
