EUR futures: further consolidation very near term

According to preliminary figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, open interest rose by almost 5.1K contracts on Monday vs. Friday’s final 476,530 contracts. In addition, volume dropped by around 12.6K contracts.

EUR/USD a test of 1.1853 is not ruled out… yet

Monday’s indecisive session in EUR/USD was accompanied by rising open interest and the second consecutive drop in volume. While a test of 1.1853 still remains on the cards, some consolidation is also likely in the near term.
