NZD/USD consolidating the upside

FXStreet (Guatemala) - Currently, NZD/USD is trading at 0.8716, up 0.01% on the day, having posted a daily high at 0.8720 and low at 0.8710.

NZD/USD is motionless at higher levels after a US session that continued on the theme of a weaker US dollar. From the calendar, NZD/USD has got a slight lift on the back of an improvement in the Business PMI readings, 58.4 vs 56.2 month on month for March.

NZD/USD held up on higher ground

NZD/USD spot is in overbought territory according to the hourly FXStreet OB/OS Index, while the FXStreet Trend Index is slightly bullish. RSI is in neutral territory at 64.29, up from it’s last hourly close at 63.15, while ADX is ranging above 30 at 16.05, up from 15.60 at the last hourly close.

Current price is 0.8717, with resistance ahead at 0.8720 (Daily High), 0.8729 (Yesterday's High), 0.8742 (Daily Classic R2), 0.8795 (Weekly Classic R2) and 0.8800 (Daily Classic R3). Next support to the downside can be found at 0.8716 (Monthly High), 0.8716 (Weekly High), 0.8716 (Annual High), 0.8715 (Daily Open) and 0.8710 (Daily Low).
