US stocks rallied for second day while FOMC minutes showed nothing has changed
FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street closed Wednesday at session highs with the Nasdaq Composite becoming positive in the year.
Stocks accelerate gains following the FOMC minutes that said nothing has changed but the unemployment thresholds was cut down.
The Dow Jones rallied 181.04 points or 1.11% to finish at 16,437.18; the S&P 500 added 20.22 pts or 1.09% to close at 1,872.18; while the Nasdaq jumped 70.91 pts or 1.72% to 4,183.90.
