Qatar central bank: Qatar and Turkey central banks sign swap agreement to aid financial stability

 The Qatar Central Bank said in a statement posted on its website on Sunday, Qatar and Turkey’s central banks have signed a currency swap agreement to provide liquidity and support for financial stability, as cited by Reuters.

This comes after Qatar’s Emir pledged $15 billion in investments to Turkey in an effort to stem the Lira’s free-fall.
