Italy's Cabinet Undersecretary wants the ECB to extend QE program

Italian Cabinet Undersecretary Giancarlo Giorgetti, while speaking to newspaper II Messaggero over the weekend, said the European Central Bank (ECB) should extend the quantitative easing (QE) program to help protect Italy from financial speculators.

He added further that Italy may boost its extra spending request to the European Union after the Genoa bridge disaster.
