Wall Street declines for third day as investors are diversifying
The US stocks market declined for third day on Monday as investors are diversifying from high profile assets to other areas in the search for the new big deal.
Overall, bearish momentum continues across the market. The S&P 500 joined the Nasdaq Composite into the red territory in the year. The Dow Jones posted 3-digit decline.
The Dow Jones declined 166.84 points or 1.02% to close the day at 16,245.87; the S&P 500 eased 20.05 points or 1.08% to finish at 1,845.04; while the Nasdaq lost 47.97 pts or 1.16% to 4,079.75.
