• Gold broke to a new 2018 low this Thursday as it fell below $1,211.17 a troy ounce, the former 2018 low.  
• Gold seems to have little significant support before 1,204.00 July 10, 2017 swing low.  
• Near-term resistances to the upside become the 1,211.17 former 2018 low and 1214.00, July 31 low.
