NZD/USD is testing 0.8590/90 area

FXStreet (Moscow) - The NZD/USD is on its way higher, reaching 0.8593 from 0.8571 at the open.

The kiwi is on the way up

Although the AUD and NZD have good correlation between each other, the latter completely ignored the Stevens comments, and just went on rising in the same gradual pace. The NZD/USD is a popular currency when it comes to risk-on moods, and since we have no new development in Ukraine-Russia conflict, it’s good news for the kiwi. The pair has come closer to 0.8580/90 resistance area which is not easy to break above, but if NZD succeeds, the way is open for further run higher with March highs around 0.8630 area looming.

What are today’s key NZD/USD levels?

Today's central pivot point can be found at 0.8566, with support below at 0.8542 (S1), 0.8508 (S2), and 0.8484 (S3) with resistance above at 0.8600 (R1), 0.8624 (R2), and 0.8658 (R3).
