German ZEW Economic sentiment crumbles to -8.2 in April, a big miss

The German ZEW headline numbers for April showed that the headline economic sentiment numbers deteriorated more-than-expected, coming in at -8.2 versus -1.0 expectations and 5.1 seen last. While the sub-index current conditions figure eased to 87.9 versus 88.0 expected and 90.7 booked previously.
