Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 260 pips higher than the previous fix (6.5228 from 6.4968) and 21 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.5207. The basket implied change is 24 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.5231 from 6.5207)."
