China: No illicit oil sales to N. Korea – RTRS

Responding to the US President Trump’s disappointment on China’s stance on N. Korea, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told reporters, she had noted recent media reports including suggestions a Chinese vessel was suspected of transporting oil to a North Korean vessel on Oct. 19.

Hua denied reports it has been illicitly selling oil products to North Korea, adding that, “The Chinese side has conducted an immediate investigation. In reality, the ship in question has, since August, not docked at a Chinese port and there is no record of it entering or leaving a Chinese port.”
