According to Bloomberg, a former foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, George Papadopoulos, secretly pleaded guilty to making false statements during an interview with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. as part of Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Papadopoulos further said that Donald Trump met with top Russian leaders during the campaign, as per Bloomberg reports.
