Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 220 pips lower than the previous fix (6.6273 from 6.6493) and 12 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6285. The basket implied change is 14 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6271 from 6.6285)."
