Analysts at Nomura offered their outlook for the USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 170 pips lower than the previous fix (6.6123 from 6.6293) and 148 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.5975. The basket implied change is 201 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6176 from 6.5975)."
