EUR futures: upside stays unabated so far

According to CME Group’s preliminary data for EUR futures markets, open interest ticked higher by more than 3.2K contracts on Tuesday vs. 454,577 contracts traded on Monday. Furthermore, volume decreased by over 30k contracts.

EUR/USD: there is still room for extra gains

The bullish scenario around EUR/USD remains unchanged for the time being. This view is confirmed by rising open interest along with an underlying uptrend in prices in past weeks. Volume, however, remains choppy.

Fresh money seems to still be flowing into the single currency, although a move to the next critical area around 1.2000 the figure might need a stronger catalyst.
