ECB appoints Hans-Joachim Klöckers and Massimo Rostagno as Directors General

European Central Bank Directorate General Communications recently announced that the Executive Board of the European Central Bank (ECB) has appointed Hans-Joachim Klöckers as Director General Economic Developments and Massimo Rostagno as Director General Monetary Policy.

"Mr Klöckers, 55, has been with the ECB since 1998. He has served as Director Monetary Policy and Director Economic Developments. "Mr Rostagno, 55, has been with the ECB since 1998. He has served as head of the Monetary Policy Strategy Division and Director Monetary Policy. Previously Mr Rostagno worked for the Banca d’Italia and the International Monetary Fund. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles."
