Australia & Hong Kong begin free trade agreement talks

Reuters reporting latest headlines on the meeting between Australia's trade minister Steven Ciobo and Hong Kong's Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Gregory So in Hong Kong to discuss Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

The two spoke on an FTA

HK tariffs on Australian goods are already zero, Ciobo wants free trade for also for financial, education, travel, construction, mining, energy and transport companies

Ciobo told Sky News that Canberra would "look and try to negotiate as comprehensive an FTA as possible over the next 12 months or thereabouts. If we can do it a little more quickly than that, that would be fantastic."
