US and China reach a trade deal - RTRS

Latest headlines crossing the wires, via RTRS, note that the US and China have reached a trade deal.

Reuters reports the following comments from the US commerce secretary Wilbur Ross:

US & China will expand trade in beef and chicken, increase access for financial firms 

China will allow U.S. imports of beef no later than July 16

The United States said it would issue a proposed rule to allow Chinese cooked poultry to enter U.S. markets ... also by July 16

China will also allow U.S.-owned card payment services to begin the licensing process

Allows full access For Visa, Mastercard and American Express

Foreign-owned firms in China will also be able to provide credit rating services

Any delay to Fed hikes would be harmful - JP Morgan
