Libya oil output rises to highest since 2014

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) on Monday said Libya's oil production has risen above 760,000 barrels per day (bpd), it’s highest since December 2014.

If reports are to be believed, the increase in the output is mainly due to the reopening of the major western field of Sharara last week. Last week, the NOC had said that lifting of the blockade at Sharara would also allow production to resume at the nearby El Feel field. That would add 80,000 bpd to the total output.
