US oil rig count jumps to 2-yr high, rises for the 13th straight week

There is no stopping to US shale producers… the Baker Hughes data released in the North American session showed the oil rigs increased for the 13th straight week; up by 11 to 683; the highest level since April 2015. 

The majority of growth occurred in the Permian Basin in Texas and New Mexico.
