BBG Survey: Euro to hit 15-year low if Le Pen wins French election

According to economists surveyed by Bloomberg, the Euro is expected to hit a 15-year low if Marine Le Pen win the French presidential race, with the immediate reaction in the currency similar to that seen in the pound following the UK’s Brexit vote.

Key findings of the survey:

23 of 38 respondents in a Bloomberg survey believe that the shared currency would drop to $1 or below a day after Le Pen becomes the French President, while five of those call for a decline below 95 U.S. cents.
