Analysts at Nomura offered their projections for the today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 61 pips lower than the previous fix (6.8828 from 6.8889) and 43 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8871. The basket implied change is 51 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8820 from 6.8871)."
