Analysts at Nomura offered their projections for tonight's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 149 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8958 from 6.8809) and 138 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8820. The basket implied change is 180 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.9000 from 6.8820)."
