France leaving the euro area would be a tragedy - EC's P.Moscovici

European Commissioner Pierre Moscovici said on Monday that "France leaving the euro area would be a tragedy for the euro-zone and a catastrophe for France'.

Moscovici added that growth continues on the European economy, while the UK economy has showed signs of resilience.
