ISM Non-Manufacturing improves in November

The ISM Non-Manufacturing Index released by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) shows business conditions in the US non-manufacturing sector improved for the month of November.

The data arrived as 57.2 vs 55.3 expected and 54.8 prior. However, it is worth noting that the non-manufacturing sector does not influence, either positively or negatively, the GDP as much as the ISM Manufacturing does. A result above 50 is positive (or bullish) for the USD. After softening ahead of the weekend, the US dollar has begun the new week on firm note ahead of next week's FOMC meetiing.
