PBOC member - Property market could weigh on growth in short-run

PBOC monetary policy committee member Huang Yiping has reportedly warned that growth could slowdown in the fourth quarter and during the early part of 2017.

Yiping said in the short-run the pressure on growth could come from the property market and called for a 6-7% target growth range for 2017.

Coming to Yuan slide, Yiping believes the sharp depreciation in the currency would curb expansionary monetary policies.
