BOC’s Poloz: Too early to tell impact of Trump election

Bank of Canada’s Poloz, during the press conference, said it is too early to tell the impact of Trump election and the central bank would not react to hypotheticals.

Poloz added that the level of uncertainty for businesses has dropped following US elections. “Some view of higher rates in US was already in forecast”, Poloz said.
