Mexican Peso hits record low as Trump extends lead

Mexican Peso hit a record low of 20.1297 per US dollar as Trump continues to extend the lead over Clinton.

USD/MXN trades 9.7% higher

At the time of writing, USD/MXN was trading 9.7% higher on the day around 20.10 levels. The pair staged a sharp rebound from 18.16 levels after early polls put Trump in lead.

Since then, Trump has been steadily extending the lead. The total tally now stands at 151 for Trump and 109 for Clinton.

USD/MXN Technical Levels

The pair is trading at record highs, thus psychological zero figures or round figures could act as resistance levels. On the lower side, support could be seen at 20.00 and 19.52166 (June high).
