"Global market sentiment: Interest rate and fx markets were contained overnight amid a mixed batch of US economic data. Oil fell 3% to a one-month low following the inconclusive OPEC supply talks over the weekend.

Interest rates: US 10yr treasury yields ranged between 1.82% and 1.85%, 2yr yields between 0.84% and 0.86%. The FOMC starts its two day meeting tonight, markets pricing in only a 16% chance of a rate hike.

Currencies:  The US dollar index is little changed. EUR  made a round trip from 1.0970 to 1.0936 to 1.0975. USD/JPY similarly rose from 104.80 to 105.20 before retracing. AUD ranged sideways between 0.7590 and 0.7620. NZD eked an even tighter sideways range: 0.7143-0.7157. AUD/NZD ranged between 1.0620 and 1.0650."
