US election polls are now narrowing: the Gop seized the day over new Clinton FBI investigation

The notion stands that a Clinton victory is USD positive and a Trump is USD negative.

To date, the race has been a battle of the lesser evil while both parties have set out to blame and shame each candidate and expose each other's flaws and imperfections. To date, Clinton and the democrats have been in the lead while Trump, the wild card and anti establishment republican vote had been some way behind in the national polls since the sex scandals and debates went in Clinton's favour as a whole.

However, the latest ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll released today has showed a Clinton lead narrowing to just 1% at 46% to 45%. This comes on the heels of the news on Friday that the FBI was reviewing new emails linked to the investigation of Hillary Clinton's use of a private server. The Republicans (GOP, (Grand Old Party)), are arguing the GOP must remain in charge of Congress so they can keep check on a potential Clinton presidency.

Elsewhere, in CNN's Poll of Polls, which averages results for the five most recently released national surveys, Clinton has a 47% to 42% advantage over Trump. A New York Times Upshot/Siena poll found Trump ahead -- 46% to 42% -- in Florida. The same poll had found the candidates even at 43% apiece in September.
