Key events ahead - Rabobank

Analysts at Rabobank explained the key events ahead.

Key Quotes:

"Today has Japan’s May PMI (last at 48.2) and the samePMIs for Europe (which are expected to edge up slightly in expansionary territory).

We also hear from the Fed’s Bullard and Williams ahead of the US Markit PMI, and then Eurozone consumer confidence. In politics, we also wait to see what the final outcome in Austria’s cliff-hanger presidential election is after absentee ballots are counted."

"The highlights for the rest of the week are Q1 German GDP and the ZEW survey, US new home sales, and a rate decision in Turkey tomorrow; NZ trade data, the German IFO, the US Markit services PMI and a BoC rate decision on Wednesday; US durable goods on Thursday; and Japanese CPI, US Q1 GDP, and what may be a key pre-June FOMC speech from Yellen on Friday.
Here’s hoping for some fine trading and some equally fine weather."
