June rate hike still likely – Fed’s Lacker

Jeffrey Lacker, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, has argued that a rate hike by the Fed at its meeting next month remains ‘pretty strong’.

According to CME Group’s FedWatch, the probability of a rate hike in June is just below 4% and nearly 20% for the month of July.
